The objective of Pharmacy London is to support and represent member LPCs in addressing London-wide issues affecting Community Pharmacy. CPL Represents 8 LPCs which represent nearly 1500 community pharmacies across London.

Kensington, Chelsea & Westminster LPC

The LPC for Kensington, Chelsea and Westminster represents in total 138 pharmacy contractors of which 41 are in the Kensington and Chelsea area and 97 are in the Westminster area.

In total we have 11 members in our committee who are representatives of both independent pharmacies and chain pharmacies.

Our mission is to represent the best interests of  community pharmacies in the Kensington, Chelsea and Westminster area so that we can provide the support they require to allow them to provide the highest quality of pharmaceutical healthcare to the community.

The Middlesex Group of Local Pharmaceutical Committees (LPCs) provide support, guidance and advice to 575 Community Pharmacies in 9 Middlesex Borough Areas via the following statutory LPCs: Barnet, Enfield & Haringey; Brent & Harrow; Ealing, Hammersmith & Hounslow and Hillingdon.

Barnet, Enfield & Haringey LPC

There are 75 Community Pharmacies in the London Borough of Barnet, which is in North London. It is the fourth largest borough in London in terms of area, covering a total of 33 square miles, and is the largest in terms of population. It borders Hertfordshire to the north, Harrow and Brent to the west, Enfield to the east and Camden and Haringey to the south east. Barnet is made up of three localities.

There are 58 Community Pharmacies in the London Borough of Enfield which is in North London. It borders the London Boroughs of Barnet (to the west), Haringey (to the south) and Waltham Forest (to the southeast), the districts of Hertsmere (to the northwest), Welwyn Hatfield and Broxbourne (both to the north) in Hertfordshire, and Epping Forest (to the east) in Essex. Enfield has four localities.

There are 56 Community Pharmacies in the London borough of Haringey, which is in North Central London. Geographically, Haringey is one of the smallest boroughs in London. It shares borders with six other London boroughs, which are Enfield, Waltham Forest, Hackney, Islington, Camden and Barnet.  Haringey has  five localities

There are 82 Community Pharmacies in the London borough of Brent, which is in North West London. Brent has borders with the London boroughs of Harrow, Ealing, Barnet, Camden, Hammersmith and Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea, and Westminster. Brent has five localities.

There are 62 Community Pharmacies in the London borough of Harrow, which is in North West London. Harrow has borders with Hertfordshire to the north and four London boroughs: Barnet to the east, Brent to the south-east, Ealing to the south and Hillingdon to the west. Harrow has five localities.

Ealing, Hammersmith & Hounslow LPC

There are 78 Community Pharmacies in the London borough of Ealing, and is the third largest London borough in terms of population. Ealing borders Hillingdon to the west, Harrow and Brent to the north, Hammersmith and Fulham to the east and Hounslow to the south. Ealing is made up of seven localities.

The London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham  is partly in West London (Hammersmith, West Kensington) and partly in South West London (Fulham), and forms part of Inner London. There are 40 community pharmacies located throughout Hammersmith and Fulham, which is made up of  seven localities.

There are 52 Community Pharmacies in the London Borough of Hounslow which is situated in the west of London. It is the ninth largest borough in London, and has borders with Ealing, Hammersmith and Fulham, Hillingdon, Richmond and Spelthorne.  Hounslow is made up of five localities.

There are 64 Community Pharmacies in Hillingdon, which is the second largest of London’s 32 boroughs covering an area of 42 square miles, over half of which is countryside and woodland. It is the home of Heathrow airport and  RAF Northolt, and shares its borders with Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Surrey, Hounslow, Ealing, and Harrow. Hillingdon is made up of three localities.

Camden and Islington LPC

Community Pharmacy Camden & Islington is a representative committee for all 106 community pharmacy contractors in the Camden and Islington area. Working with Pharmacists, the NHS and Public Health to improve patient care.

The CPCI Committee is an elected body recognised and configured under the NHS Act, set up to represent the interest of all local NHS Pharmacy Contractors. The committee includes representatives from Independent Pharmacy Contractors, The Company Chemists Association
(CCA) and The Association of Independent Multiples (AIMp).

CPCI is funded by a levy taken from each contractor in the Camden and Islington area. In turn, CPCI pays a levy to Community Pharmacy England (CPE) – formerly PSNC – to cover administration and CPCI support. CPCI is required to be consulted by the local commissioning board on contractual matters and on a wide range of issues relating to community pharmacy. The CPCI is responsible for negotiating with the Local Area Team (LAT) regarding local enhanced services and other local arrangements.

Community Pharmacy South West London

Community Pharmacy South West London is the statutory body representing community pharmacy contractors within the
geographical area of the Kingston, Richmond, Merton, Sutton, Wandsworth and Croydon Health and Wellbeing Boards.

It is our role and mission at the LPC to be the voice and support of Community Pharmacy in South West London representing local community pharmacy teams to become an effective integrated part of primary health and social care encouraging patients and the local community to think pharmacy first. It is the LPCs vision to create a think pharmacy first culture.

The LPC negotiates and discusses pharmacy services with commissioners and is available to give advice to community pharmacy contractors and others wanting to know more about community pharmacy.  The 16-member committee operates a strict procedure for corporate governance and conflicts of interest (all currently being published on our website). All members have signed up to these standards.
